Fundamentals of Color Mixing

Learn to mix hundreds of colors from eight basic tubes of paint. Mix clean, bright colors as well as hundreds of tints, tones and neutrals across the full color spectrum. Students will leave this class with a clear understanding of practical color theory.

Materials and color mixing worksheets will be provided.

Graduates of this class will be eligible for future one-day advanced color mixing seminars at the Stutz.

Structured Color Schemes

Explore the use of structure color schemes using color principles learned in the Fundamentals of Color Mixing, a pre-requisite for this 3-hour advanced color seminar.

Students will learn to create sophisticated monochromatic and complementary color schemes utilizing clear color and a full range of their corresponding tints, tones and colored neutrals.

Color mixing classes will resume in the fall of 2009.
